Anti-Trafficking & Survivor Care
Where freedom begins: restoring the lives of sexually trafficked women and youth. Rooted Faith Foundation stands with RVSL Foundation's residential program as survivors rebuild their lives, rediscover their worth, and reclaim their future.
Reversing Cycles. Redeeming Pain. Rewriting Stories. Reclaiming Futures.
The Heart Behind the Work
More than rescue
Sexual human trafficking is one of the most devastating forms of modern-day slavery — a hidden crisis that destroys identity, dignity, and hope. Survivors do not simply escape a dangerous situation; they emerge from years of manipulation, violence, coercion, and trauma that rewires how they see themselves and the world around them.
RVSL Foundation's anti-trafficking residential program exists to be a place where survivors are not defined by their past, but invited into restoration, safety, and freedom. Their approach is rooted in the belief that healing requires more than rescue — it requires a safe home, dignified community, trauma-informed care, and spiritual renewal.
The Story Behind the Mission
From foster care camps to restorative homes
The RVSL Foundation was born from the redeemed stories of its founders, Bryan and Haley Jarrett, who learned firsthand that God can transform even the deepest wounds into purpose.
That mission first took root in 2008 through Lonesome Dove Ranch, a camp ministry giving children in the foster care system a place to feel safe, valued, and known — often for the first time.
As RVSL grew, Bryan and Haley recognized another urgent need: the devastating trauma carried by survivors of human trafficking. Their vision widened once more — to build long-term restorative homes where survivors can rebuild their lives safely and with dignity.
Survivors don't just need a place to rest their head — they need a beginning.
- A beginning marked by safety, compassion, structure, and belonging.
- A beginning where someone believes in their worth long before they are able to believe it themselves.
- A beginning rooted in the hope and healing of Christ.
That vision — a place where restored lives take root — is the heartbeat of RVSL's residential program.
Why This Work Matters
Rescue is only the beginning
Trafficking survivors often emerge from environments marked by violence, manipulation, and deep psychological control. Rescue solves the immediate crisis — but without comprehensive, long-term care, most survivors face a second battle just as hard as the first.
Many survivors have experienced
- Repeated sexual and physical abuse
- Complex trauma from coercion or threats
- Disrupted education and employment
- Substance exposure or addiction
- Isolation from healthy community
- Learned fear, shame, and survival behaviors
Without ongoing care, most face
- Housing instability
- Re-victimization
- Mental health crises
- Limited economic opportunity
- Difficulty trusting others
- Challenges reintegrating into society
For true restoration, survivors need long-term, holistic, trauma-informed support that addresses the mind, body, and spirit. This is the gap RVSL is uniquely positioned to fill — and it is why Rooted Faith Foundation gives to this work.

Our Part
Standing with this work
In December 2025, Rooted Faith Foundation made two grants to RVSL Foundation in support of its work with survivors of sexual abuse and human trafficking — an initial gift, followed later in the month by additional support to help sustain ongoing care and restoration for the people this ministry serves.
Since 2008, RVSL has been transforming the lives of thousands of exploited children entrusted to its care. Through its restorative care home, that same experience is being poured into survivors of sexual human trafficking — ensuring each one receives the care, dignity, and support she deserves. Where there are currently only heartbreaking statistics, there will be names, faces, and lives forever changed.
