Common questions

A few answers about who we are and how our giving works. Don't see your question? Reach out to us.

Is Rooted Faith Foundation a registered nonprofit?

Yes. Rooted Faith Foundation is a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, governed by a Board of Directors.

Are my gifts tax-deductible?

Yes — gifts to Rooted Faith Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We recommend keeping your giving records and consulting a tax professional for your specific situation.

How does the foundation decide what to fund?

Grants are made at the discretion of the Board of Directors, in keeping with our mission. We direct gifts toward ministries and causes that share the love of Christ and serve real needs — from gospel ministry and care for children and youth to community relief.

What kinds of causes do you support?

Our giving centers on local church and gospel ministry, camps for children in foster care, student and youth athletics, and community relief. You can see examples of recent grants on our Giving page.

Can my organization apply for a grant?

Grants are currently made at the board's discretion rather than through an open application. If you lead a ministry or organization whose work aligns with our mission, we'd still love to hear from you — please reach out through our Contact section.

How can I give?

Online giving is coming soon. In the meantime, please contact us and we'll gladly help you make a gift. All gifts go toward extending the foundation's mission.

Who leads the foundation?

Rooted Faith Foundation is led by its founder and Board of Directors. You can meet them on our Leadership page.
